A New Office Experience

Diverse in experiences, the project meets the company’s ambitions to transform the new model of work. The Linde Romania team worked closely with us to create a diverse office space in Timisoara that supports creativity, with a focus on non-linear design and a variety of work environments. The process began with a thorough analysis over the specific work styles and processes that generated the architecture brief and workplace strategy. The main objective was to boost a new office experience, one that needed to empower community and the feeling of belongness. Linde employees were about to be welcomed in a different typology of workspace after the pandemic pushed the boundaries of what was possible.

To get there, we had to first understand the operational processes and what happens at each step of the journey.

The space consists of homogenously mixed functions that support the working & collaborative flows into a typical day at work. We have designed various options to spend quality time at the office, giving way to more flexible, non-deterministic spaces. The user gives the function of the space according to his actual needs in a particular moment. The attention was focused towards offering a physical setup to comfortably attract and retain talents. Strategically designed environments cater to a wide range of work styles and personality types, empowering the user over the space.

The variety of sensorial experiences gives people the autonomy to choose a space, a proffered color scheme or atmosphere that suits them.

The heart of the space is the café. We wanted it to be bold and playful, to express magnetism and appreciated to be a buzz-generator and a people-connector. The many meeting options offer variety in privacy and formality, being designed and located so teams can easily interact, and also feel physically immersed.

The experience of the complete environment unfolds itself as the user moves through it, demanding exploration and generating well-being. The space is a fluid playground of interpretations responding to how people want to work today.
